Writing is my passion and the dear friends that I have made along the way have made the endless hours at the computer worthwhile.

The horse at the top of the page is a reflection of both my beautiful home state of Kentucky and my style of writing. Frisky, fun and a bit on the wild side, I hope you will laugh or perhaps sigh, but most of all indulge in a bit of fantasy where love always wins in the end.

Southern Fried Fairytales! 

After the very steamy Driven by Desire, 2009 brings the release of two more southern comedies that I call my Southern Fried Fairytales.  In March, REDNECK CINDERELLA hits the shelves and as the title suggests it is a rags-to riches-romance:  Raised by her widowed father, Jolie Russell could keep up with any man—that is, until wealthy and sexy land developer Cody Dean struts into her life.  Cody buys the Russell farm with an impossible-to-refuse multimillion-dollar offer, then relocates Jolie and her dad to the Copper Creek Estates. But the country club atmosphere isn’t ready for Jolie’s kind of country. As her two worlds collide, Jolie wonders how she can ever hope to capture Cody’s heart without giving up her grits.  Please read the excerpt and enter my new contest! 

In October, brings the release of HE’S NO PRINCE CHARMING, another romantic comedy with some Beauty and the Beast elements: She’s young, beautiful—and yesterday’s news. But now she’s twenty-five, grown up but washed up, and returning home to Tall Rock, Tennessee, fixing to write new songs and transform her image from squeaky clean to kickin' country at her parents’ fishing camp…  Turns out her folks have handed the operations over to sexy, but cranky cowboy Trace Coleman, a former bull-riding champion benched by injuries—who’s not too happy about Dakota's arrival. Even though Trace is rough around the edges, Dakota feels a pull of attraction she cannot shake, but decides to dig in her heels and hold on tight...
